Where have I been?

OMG I am sooo lost right now. I'm so not on track anymore. I eat all kinds of crap, haven't been to the gym in 3 weeks, and just feel like yuk! I need to get re-motivated but I just can't do it. I need help. I wish I had a workout buddy that just pushed me to go. Maybe I'll talk to my trainer and see what she thinks. I need to get my shoes fixed again cause these new ones I got are hurting me again. Any suggestions to get back on track please let me know!! I will listen to anything.

Nerves Nerves Nerves

Ok so it's 3 days before my first race EVER and I am just a bundle full of nerves. My stomach has butterflies galore! I feel like someone punched me in the stomack. I know I'm ready, but since I only run on the treadmill to avoid my shin splints returning I'm not so confident about the 5 miles outside. If we were all running on treadmills hell yeah I'm there!! Unfortunately that's not how it is. I know this isn't a real "Race race" but to me it is. It's my first major run in my life. Never have I ever done this before!! But! In April I said I was going to do the Half in a year and I will and this is just a step in the process. I set out to do something and I will do it.

I just wish I could calm myself and know I will be ok running outside. I am running with my friend and her friend so with them I'm sure they will push me and motivate me. We shall see!!

First race week

Ok well I didn't realize it had a been almost a whole week since I've been here! How time flies when your busy. Well I am happy to report I got a ton of running and workouts in last week! I logged about 11 miles, which is pretty good for me!

I ran 5 miles this morning at a 12:03/mile pace! That is soooo good for me. I have been running between 13-14 this whole time. It's amazing what you can do when you push yourself. Just the fact I never thought I'd be able to run let alone 5 miles at a time. Although I better suck it up because I have 13.1 comming up in April haha. Yes little nervous about that one!

Ok well it's off to start my day and my week. I'm hoping this one is better then the last. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts. Have a wonderful day!

Starting Over

Ok well I have been MIA I guess. Alot has happened in the last week. My boyfriend broke up with me last Tuesday and of course the fuels my fire to get moving. Why? I have no idea. That is how I cope I guess. So Monday I started right back up 5am at the gym! I started it off right with a 3 mile run, then Cardio class at night and another mile run after that. Day 2 (today) gym at 5am once again and another 3 mile run. This time it was only suppose to be 2 miles, but last night I had a hot fudge sundae from McDonald's so I kept pushing myself further till I got to 3 miles to get rid of the sundae. Hey whatever helps right haha.

Sooo that brings us to now...I'm still a bit on the sad side from the whole boyfriend situation but that too shall pass. We will see how weighin goes this week! I'm hoping I can pick it back up and get right back into the swing of it all. Wish me luck!!

New Week New Goals

Ok so this weekend...NOT so good. It started off with great intentions but somewhere along the way they got lost.

I feel like I set myself back so far! I ate horribly and continued that into today. Sometimes I feel like I have no will power. There were these little Ice cream cone cake things in the back room at work today with frosting on the top...Yeah I had THREE of them. Not one...not even two...but THREE! I can't sit an hold myself in regret over what I cannot change. However I'm having trouble with not doing it to begin with! I wasn't hungry, I had just eaten breakfast. Then I wasn't hungry again because I had just eaten lunch. It was just there and I thought about it and said hmm that would taste good. So I ate it. If anyone has any suggestions on how to NOT do that and how to keep yourself in check please do share with me!

However I did go to my aerobics class this evening. I also got my veggies on my lunch hour today, but they don't help when I didn't cut them up yet. So with that said I am going to go wash some dishes so I can maybe get a few things prepared. Hope everyone had a great day today and hope you have a great tomorrow!

Busting it out right today!

Ok so bowling last night went ok. I have a ton on my mind with my boyfriend (that is a whole different story right there), but kept focused. Finished with a 552 series. Not horrible.

This morning I had my aerobics class and was a little worried about my shoulder and how it was going to be. In general it wasn't all the bad the last few days, but how was that range of motion going to be . Well I was able to push it more then I did on Wednesday after I hurt it. Almost no pain at all. I am SOOO relieved about that. Shoulder injuries are nothing good, especially when its your bowling arm!! So I decided I was going to go all out this morning and after my hour and 45 min calls I decided I was going to go run 2 miles. I did it with flying colors. Started out about 4.7 mph .1mph up from what I normally start at. Then once I got to the 1 mile mark I up'd it .1 mph every 1/4 of a mile. So by the time I hit 2 miles I was at 5.1 mph. Which I normally don't get that high. Also the last 1/4 of a mile I added a .5 % incline. Needless to say the run felt awesome! 2 miles use to be huge to me. Now I feel like its nothing. I say to my friends hey I only ran 2 miles today, of course their response ONLY 2 miles??? Gotta love it!!

So now I am off to my moms house to finally see the season premier of The Biggest Loser. Since I bartend on Tuesdays I have to wait till the weekend to get to watch it. Let me tell you that really sucks! But hey she is making lunch and of course I'm bringing some laundry to do. Then off to work for about 9 hours tonight at the bar. Busy busy Saturday today!!

I have all intensions of getting to the gym in the morning tomorrow and maybe getting in about 5 miles or so. I think that will be good. Don't want to over due anything. But sometimes I have a tendancy to keep saying, ok just a little more, just a little more. So I guess we will find out after I'm done!

It's Friday!!!

Ok so I did it 4 hours of sleep well 4 and a half and I got up and ran 4.16 miles this morning. Yay me!! I was super tired though. Didn't feel like one of my really good runs but hey I did it. Now if I can just keep that up I'll be good and gravy.

Anyway it's Friday and I'm so ready to be done with the week. I bartend on Saturday so it is not going to be a relaxing weekend, but it will be a money filled weekend. And who doesn't want money!

Time to get ready for work and start my day, then bowling tonight!

Great Night!

Ok so I will let you all know I am a HUGE bowler. So you might here me bragging about my bowling scores just because it's something I am trying to improve on. I have been told by alot of very decent bowlers that I am a natural. So anyway tonight at leagues (I bowl on all men's leagues by the way) I bowled a 198-206-214 for a 618 total. That is pretty good. 630 for women get's you in the paper. So that just made my night! And luckily my shoulder injury did not come into play at all for bowling, although it is still there. I'm hoping it is just a pulled muscle. *crosses fingers for luck*

I did so well and didn't eat any bowling alley food UNTIL the last game I had a 3 little square slices of pizza. Then a friend and I went to another bowling alley to visit a friend who was working...well I had a Turkey, lettuce, tomato wrap with mayo AND fries. :( I plan on getting up and running at least 3 miles tomorrow morning. We'll see since it's now 11:34.

Anyway I hope you all had a great day today and guess what!!! Tomorrow is Friday!! If I don't get to get on tomorrow have a wonderful day and make the most of it.

Not so Energetic morning

Ok guys I'm very much dragging already and I just woke up. I had intended on getting up and going for an at least 3 mile run today. So as we all know that did not happen.

Today is my weigh in day (I am a member of Weight Watchers as well). As of Sunday I thought I had lost 3.5lbs! But last night was my moms birthday and I guess I over did it on the food. And it was nothing bad! Except for the keylime pie and chocolate cake. Well I think I'm still down maybe 1.4lbs. That's good right!? I hope so. This weight just does not want to leave me.

So we are going to try to handle this day then I have bowling tonight. We shall see how my shoulder holds up after injuring it last night at the gym. Of course it would have to be the left one.

I know you are probably like wait she bowls too??? I will cover all that later! I tend to pick times when I only have about 5 min to type. Like now when I'm suppose to be getting ready for work. Ha!

Ok so I want everyone to have a wonderful day, and stay motivated! If you don't do anything else today at least park far away from your destinations and if you have to walk somewhere in the building...take the long way around.

Just the beginning

Seeing as it is late I just wanted to get one entry in to say Hello!

I started my new journey December 29, 2008. I wanted to start 2009 with a bang. Well so far it's been great as far as my working out and my new "lifestyle change". We won't refer to it as a diet because well this will be the rest of my life! Not just a temporary fix.

We will get more into detail about everything when I have more time and my eyes are not about to drifted into dreamy land. Oh yeah just to let everyone know ahead of time...I tend to make up words. I like to call them my "Stacyisms".

Ok so I hope I will get some followers on this and people interested in hearing about my journey and all the things to come in it. I look forward to sharing it all with you as it happens.

This is my first blog so bare with me as I get use to this. Not sure if you are suppose to type as telling a story or what, but ya know dammit this is my blog and I am going to type as if I am talking to you!! Ha! What ya think about them apples. I like to have fun with people so I don't want you to be bored while reading. So I like to throw a little humor in, well because that is just who I am!!
